We arrived at the airport and made our way through special customs.
The air was still a little chilly but it warmed with every passing second.
" Don't laugh, but it will be my first time flying. "
We walked hand in hand towards the plane in the distance.
" Why would I laugh? Everyone has a first time, I remember mine, I was terrified and had to be put to sleep by Remy. "
Looking at her now made me realise I planed this without any knowledge about her preferences. What if she was so afraid, she couldn't get on the plane? Well live and learn.
" Be honest, are you trying to impress me? " she asked barely able to hold back her smile.
" Well that too, but I really wanted to make our first date special you know? Something you never forget. "
We arrived at the stairs leading up the plane and I let her go ahead.
Inside was plenty of space and the captain and stewardess made an appearance before we were left alone.
