I just woke up from the same dream, I kept having for months now.
Damn nightmares, why can't I ever make out any of it?
I was on our family jet heading off to Japan to the infamous town of Moira home to ASUNA, a Purple Portal and 1 of 5 super massives covering our globe.
The flight was pleasant but long, and in front of me...

He didn't answer just smiled happily.
He was Remy Bennet, my father's personal guardian for 20 plus years and my new one .. his powers of telepathy was a powerful tool and he used it in sync with my father's own foresight, one can see the future, the other read you like a book.

Remy was of one of the last member of a long lost tribe of old Australia.
" How long till we land? " I asked seeing the clouds drift by.

Looking out the window, remembered yesterday, my father sat me down to talk ..
" I need to talk to you Stivanstin, you're a man now and I will speak to you as such. Listen well, you be sent in 2 days to mainland Japan our ancestral home and attend school there. I'll send Remy with you as your official guardian. "
I waited for him to finish and hid my surprise the best, I could.
I see...
" What did you see? " I asked.
His ability, Foresight, allowed the Avesta family to enter a golden age, now there were rumours circulating the imperial capital that my family had more money and influence than the Emperor.
I knew once he saw something, he acted with haste, and now he saw something involving me. He only ever used his ability on me once, the first time we meet. I asked but, didn't tell me what he saw.
" All .. I can tell is that you're needed there .."
He looked somewhat sad, and it made me a little nervous ..
but just a little.
" They're good people, in need of strong Evolved, like yourself son. " he said with glint in his eyes.

That was my initial thoughts but it was too crazy, his abilities failed him when came to portal rips so it can't be that. I had more questions than he could or would answer. So I did an easy one.
" Are you divorcing Remy? Mother will be happy.." I asked leaning back.
" Smart ass .. and to think, I almost shared this. "
He took out a bottle of liquid fire. Whiskey ..
I never had any, but knew people at parties drank it like soda. Despite his words he took out two glasses and filled them both.
" Is there anything you CAN tell me? " I asked.
" Let's see..." he slid a glass over and took his own. " .. you leave tomorrow night flying economy, once landed it's just a 6 hour drive to your new home, you won't be attending Selection day with the others, and start right after." he finished with a grin.
" Talked to Mother yet? " I took the glass and smelled it, it made me cringe up.
" Of course I did, she took it well, gave her blessing and most likely move after you in a few weeks time. "
He raised his glass.
" To you son."
He downed that glass like sweet tea.
" Thanks.."
As a man, I felt the need to match him, so I also tried finishing the glass. It didn't work, it sprayed everywhere.
Disgusting and it almost killed me.
I decided to stop thinking about it for now and just kind of go with it. Stood up, felt pleasant, warm and wondered if it was the whiskey.
" Very well then, I'm gonna make a few farewells and leave tonight. " I said steadying myself.
There was no need for sugary words, we were never touchy feely, but that's fine.
" No, no, no...I already made all travel arrang ..

A raven haired maid just came into the living room and looked to be in search of someone.

I went straight to the gardens, to find my Mother.
She was sitting under the shade and talking to her friend. I think her name is Bianca .. something, something.
She had a son named Henry, a little shit me and my brothers used to torment.
" Mother, you called? " I gave a quick kiss on her cheek and politely bowed toward her friend.
" Hmm .. did your father talked to you? " she asked.
" We just finished actually .. I'm leaving tonight for Sydney. " took a seat and faced her, ignoring her friend bewildered stares.
" You jest but, it is true that you're leaving, and I might never see you again." she said with a sad smile.

She seemed sad.
My mother the manipulator, seemed like a well behaved woman who married into royalty, but she was also a tyrant of a trainer and puppet master.
" Yeah .. I anticipated something like that, and you know very well mother, none of those monkeys are what I call friends, pets might be more accurate...except for Henry of course. " I did a quick nod towards Bianca.

So her name was Hana .. I made a mental note.
" Sure .. Anyways, I'm going to eat something then hopefully be ready to leave. I love you Mother and I'll see you soon." I got up and hugged her.
Adult or not, I'll miss her.
"Call me once you land and make sure to talk to your sisters, they'll be furious if they found out about you leaving from someone else, and whatever else be safe. I love you. "

..back on the plane.
We soon landed and greeted by 50 of Japanese finest Evolveds .. or so Remy have told me.
We were greeted cordially and left for our new home.
In the car the time difference started to affect me, my nap on the plane was interrupted by those useless dreams.
" You know, I'm surprised that you agreed to this." I said turning my head towards my new guardian.
Remy never left my father's side, they been together since their teens. Anyone could've been my guardian, not that I would ever need one yet father must've forced Remy into this.
" The order actually came from your grandfather, I had no right to refuse." he answered.

My father didn't mention his involvement. The whole thing is getting more suspect by the minute.
The town of Moira is the birthplace of the Avesta family, did father see something about the town, maybe it is ASUNA.

" Father said, I'm needed here, but that's all he said. Are you willing to part with some information for money or favours? "
It was a rhetorical question, he knew everything my father knew, but getting answers from him? People will domesticate Mimiks first.

I stared out the window and observed the scenery, it's sure is peaceful around here.

Seeing it never not amazes me, ASUNA in person caused generational fear in people like her counterparts in California, Bolivia, and Hungary.

I was, never spent time with kids who weren't my siblings or my enemies before.
6 years, all those noble kids so arrogant and entitled made my eyes twitch. For my family sake I was forced to endure them, all those year's of foolishness are behind me now.
The only good thing about this, that once again, I'll be surrounded by normal kids.
Not going to lie, I was a bit anxious deep down spending the next 4 years alone, feared or just surrounded by those ordered by their own families to make friends with me for my name.
How the girls be?..will they throw themselves at me like those young ladies of the capital or can I find something .. someone real?
I started in a few days, and dispite all my fears, I also looked forward to it.

Remy looked displeased, but who cares .. He is my guardian and bound by oath to help me even if it was, just party planning.
With the car rolling up the drive way, we were both already exhausted.
