It took a half an hour to exit the densely packed metropolis and arrive at our estate.
It's only been a week but it looked bigger.
" I-is this all your families property? " she asked seeing it.
It stood imposing and as we entered the Avesta valley the entire enormous lot was at full display.
" I know it's horrible isn't it? Like whoever built it wanted to accommodate the entire city. " I said shaking my head.
" You know some would kill to have spend their childhood here."
" Well I myself arrived at the age of 9 and far from a child. " I said over sharing a little.
She understood what I meant and moved closer to me offering what comfort she could.
I enjoyed her closeness and wrapped my arm around her the first time, obviously just as the car stopped.
I let her go reluctantly and took some deep breaths, despite her taking these horrendous developments with grace .. this day sure got away from my plans.
