"You don't have to do this everyday." I said to Yoshi as he handed me another bouquet of flowers. It was already the third time this month.
He smirked, "I like how you are surrounded by the flower. It gave me a peaceful mind to know you're fine out there when I didn't see you."
I gave him a look and he was so aware of my rejection. I received the flowers he gave me because I appreciated him as my friend. Just that.
It was bad enough when Conrad gave me a comment when I changed the flower in my room. He always said it was beautiful but I felt bad when I had to lie to him. He knew I bought the flower and not a gift.
"I'm aware, Eliana." Yoshi kept his smirk. "We're just friends right?"
"You can stop giving me flowers, Yoshi. You're still my friend even if you didn't give me anything." I said the fact.
I hope we're staying as friends. Always kept it that way and the signal I felt didn't change so soon.
