"What the hell is this..." I muttered as I looked at the injured dog in front of me.
"Morres!! What did you do to Morres?!" Zean exclaimed.
"Nothing but a simple beating," his mom replied coldly.
'Shit!' I thought as the boy suddenly cried, rushing forward to hug the dog. Leon, witnessing the scene unfold before him, feels a surge of empathy for the boy and his wounded companion. Despite his usual disdain for villains, he can't ignore the injustice before him.
"Whatever, you better hurry up and wash up before your father comes home," Mom said.
The boy stayed still, trying his best to cure the injured dog.
"It's no use and it's your fault to begin with anyway. Who told you to run away from home?" Mom questioned.
'Running from home?' Leon thought to himself as he overheard the conversation. He realized there was more to this situation than met the eye. The revelation that Zean ran away from home added another layer of complexity to the story. However, this thought quickly dispersed when suddenly the mom dragged the boy into the room and locked it.
"You hurry up," Mom instructed.
"Okay..." Zean replied quietly.
'Fortunately, I can walk through walls,' Leon thought to himself as he observed the scene. The boy undressed, revealing all the bruises hidden beneath his loose clothes. 'What's with all these bruises?' Leon wondered, still confused as the boy quietly went into the bathroom.
'Is this Zean's past? But why would this ability show me?' Many thoughts quickly ran through Leon's mind, but they soon dissipated as the boy finished his shower and sat on the side of the bed, crying quietly.
"Maybe it would be better to set Morres free into the outside world? Wouldn't it still be better than staying in this hell? If only I have a healing power" Zean cried softly
But the world is cruel, isn't it?...
