The Ersta'la was forced on the defensive, taking steps down on the stairs as his opponent had the high ground, as well as a longer reach than he did, not to mention that just by the sound the warm air produced with every swing, it was clear that each strike was intended to at least cripple him.
This invader's style of combat was hard to read as well, a mixture of raw, unbridled aggressive, using both scimitars to repeatedly strike without pause, but also an oddly graceful footwork that made the living fear to go on the offensive, as it seemed like the whole way of battle of the aggressor could morph totally at any second.
As he thought of this, the two scimitars struck a feint, and a straight kick instead lunged for him, striking the curved blade against his chest, and throwing him off the stairs for good, managing to land on his two feet, staring as the invader casually descended the steps toward him.
