As Marius placed his hand on the Orb of Fate, a strange shiver coursed through his body, resembling an electric shock.
His eyes and hand emitted a glow, while the orb swiftly transitioned through a spectrum of colors - yellow, orange, blue, red, and silver.
The rapid color changes of the orb, occurring repeatedly, caused it to grow hotter and hotter, to the point Marius had to ask:
"Is this how things usually go? It's starting to make my hand feel like it's burning."
With a look of utter disbelief on his face, the guild leader was frozen, his mouth hanging open. He was completely shocked by what was unfolding before him.
"I… Uh… Wh-what is happening…?" He uttered, trying to figure it out. The Orb of Fate had never acted in this way before; usually, it only displays a single color.
He remembered it being cold rather than hot as well.
