"So what have you decided on?" Jeremy asked looking very tensed.He just hoped to hear his expectations from her mouth.
"Well Jerry,Michael is a good guy isn't he?" She asked with a smirk.
"Yeah..so you're thinking on dating him? He asked with a feeling of irration.
"But I don't know hmm , she sighed. I think I like him huh,he is a cute guy and also you know the best part of him I like?"
She asked this time excitement was written all over her face.
"I am curious tell me" he said and sat on the rock he had previously sat on.
"Well I like him most because he is bold huh,he knows what he wants and goes for it. Unlike some other guys".
She was about walking towards an apple tree when he said. "Well I wish you both the best" He stood up and stretched his elbows.
"Thanks she said rolling her eyes.She jumped and catch a branch of the Apple tree but unluckily she almost plucked an apple but it a bug wouldn't let her ,it flied into her eyes.oh my God!!! my eyes a bug entered into my eyes. She cried.
"Oh mine!!! You should have let me pluck them for you Puppy. Hold on I got some water here. Bringing a bottle of water from his bag . Open you eyes he commanded".
"It hurts so much " she cried trying to open her eyes.
"Do you till feel it's presence in your eyes?" He ask d her with a laugh.
"No I think it's gone,thanks so much " she said forcing a smile.
"Hey let me see, he said a drew her closer. He was so close enough that she could rest her head on his chest if she wanted to. If she wanted to? Of cause she wants but she dares not do that. Jeremy was very sensitive and he didn't like such familiarity. Alright I think it's gone you are free now " he smirked.
"Can you help me with the apples" she pleaded.
"Why didn't you asked before? He stretched his hands and caught a branch .Hey you can pluck them now"
" Thanks Sucre" she said with a blush.
After she was satisfied with the few apples she got he let the branch go. " Hmm he sighed so I guess you are in your good graces "
"Why ?" She asked with confusion.
"Puppy just called me her sucre " he said happily.
"I do call you that " she defended.
"Yeah only when you're really excited. What made you so happy?I know for sure that it isn't just the apples it's something more than just that. Oh!!! He exclaimed I guess it's the thought of …." He hasn't completed his statement when she said.
" Michael ? Right yeah ,just the thought of him makes me happy . Does that hurts you? She smiled wickedly.
" And why should I be hurt by that?"
" You're only behaving like a kid whose candy was taken from him due to his carelessness". This time seriousness was written over her expression.
" Well that is if I really wanted that candy, I am a tough guy I don't do candies you should know that already Puppy". He said with an expressionless face .
"Hmm she sighed. Then don't you go deceiving the innocent candy with your friendship. It's not fair huh". She muttered.
"Friendship? you do know very well that I don't eat candy, so how can I be a friend with what I don't ? Are you sure we are still talking about candies? I don't really know what this is all about". He said staring hard at her face as if answers there".
Walking around in the form of a circle she said."Let's just end this here and right now.it's been nice been friend with you Jeremy I will always cherish our moments together. But we can't go on this way, I am tired of it"
"You are ending our friendship? Why? What did I do or say wrong? What's going on Puppy? This isn't just about the little brawl we just had. Tell me what I did wrong I will apologize please ". He said with a weak voice.
" I am heading home now " she said walking away.
"You are not gonna trek back home are you? He asked with surprise. It's a 20 minutes walking distance". This time he looked at her like a scientist examining an organism in his microscope.
" Bye Jeremy " she muttered.
"She's really gonna go on foot?"
Remembering how she had vowed not to eat until her parents buys her an Apple laptop and she succeeded for the next three days until her parents came home with an Apple laptop, he knew she was indeed gonna trek home. Once MIRABEL puts her mind in something she never looks back.
"Puppy he called out to her. She turned back to stare at him, seeing he's gotten her attention he said. You don't have to walk down home just because of a little quarrel. I brought you here so I have to take you back, please for the years of our friendship listen to me I beg you. I pray she gives in" he thought.
" Hey mom hey dad, she greeted her parents as she stepped into their lounge and met them eating some fruits. Hey sweetie her mom replied with a smile.
" Randa told us you went out with Jeremy "
"Yes mom " she answered knowing this wasn't the end of this discussion.
" And how was the outing? He didn't even buy you flowers, poor boy his dad didn't take time to teach him on how to treat a lady right". Her dad said biting a watermelon.
" When he doesn't knows that himself how do you expect him to teach his son?" Her mom said with a sad expression.
"Mom, dad it wasn't a date okay, you all know Jeremy and I always hangout at frogsmere. So what's all these about? Did Miranda tell you something else ? I sure know what she's capable of aaargh that little brat" she cursed and ran away heading towards Miranda's room. She wouldn't know what's about to hit her.
