Mei have trained Yu when he say Yu infront of his house abandoned by his family. having taking care of Yu from a young age, Yu start calling Mei gege2, sometimes jiejie3 to annoyed Mei because of his 'girlie' name.
althought everything seem to be going well for Yu, what he didn't know is that he have build a reputation as a 'cut-sleeve' for being to close to the leader of the shadow guard. many of the shadow guard envy Yu for his closeness with Mei as they too want Mei attention.
this lead to a heart breaking betrayal as the shadow guard planned on accusing Yu of a crime, sleeping with the third princes.
Mei hearing the news was shock, he don't know if he should laugh or cry. yet at the end, he stop talking to Yu, having no strength to punish him.
the shadow guard takes it to their own hand, taking the chances to accuse Yu of other crimes, such as stealing. Yu was indifferent about this, as he was oblivious to the rumors circulating around him, and only wondering why Mei is suddenly so cold towards him.
it eventually reach to the emperor ears, he cannot believe his ears when the shadow guards informed him! blinded by anger, he ordered the shadow guard to ambush Yu when he is asleep.
their planned half-worked, they have successfully kick Yu away from his second in command position and from Mei loving gaze, yet they only kicked Yu away. they never manage to seriously injured Yu, infact they were the one injured! he have the title second in command for nothing!
and now here he is, well technically here Shen yu is, sitting in the alley of a red light district, half naked and injured, confused sh*tless.

panic, Shen yu struggled abit while cursing in his mind 'how tf is he carrying me?!? im pribably taller than him!!' his efforts were useless as the young man brought him to an unfamiliar village.
the young man laid Shen yu to a wooden table, many eyes were on him. in the corner of his eyes he can see two children looking at him curiously
his body suddenly feels uncomfortable from all the attention that seem to be pointed at him.
