Roman's eyes twitched as he looked at the notification and the system's remarks.
"I know I'm mediocre, but did you have to rub salt on my injury, dear system?"
[Host has to become stronger in order to access the abilities of his new physique, therefore a side training regimen has been prepared for host]
Hmm... training regimen?

[2. Complete a set of 1000 Push ups, Sit ups and Squats consecutively]
"System, just admit that you are after my life!!" Roman grumbled, he had never even completed a set of 20 push ups, his highest was 10 and he always felt he would die, not too talk of a thousand.
[Training regimen would be refreshed daily, failure to complete a daily regimen would result in a dire penalty]
"Penalty, huh" Roman decided to ignore the notification and check his inventory.
"Inventory"
A shelf pulled up in the space in front of him, his first time user rewards were there. He ignored the sword, dagger and every other thing, he immediately took out the skill stone.
Roman could feel the energy in the stone, it was a black with white engravings that glimmered from time to time.

Roman said yes with a lot of hope, but nothing happened, which confused him until he heard a notification.
[Due to host's level being low, skill stone cannot be used, forceful activation can lead to explosion of host!]
Seeing his hope dashed, Roman sighed in resignation. "I'm still too weak"
He returned the stone to the shelf and was about to take one of the books when he felt like he was being watched, he looked around but didn't see anything aside from rubbles.
Suddenly, he felt sharp claws reach towards his neck, his eyes widened as he fell back causing him to fall off the rubble he was on. He looked at what had attacked him, standing on the rubble was a 5ft hunched back creature, it's hands were long that they went past its knees and it had claws instead of fingers. It had humane features, sharp pointy ears, a row of sharp teeth and blood red eyes, it's hair was dishevelled.
"Grrr!!!" It growled as it stared at Roman whose heart was pounding out of fear.
[Damned Cannibal]
A description in orange appeared above the creature's head.
"Da... Damned Cannibal... What the fuck is that?" Roman asked no one in particular, he didn't receive any answer except for a growl and the cannibal pouncing towards him.
Meanwhile, back in Luton Kingdom, at the royal castle. Finn, Hailey, Lena, Dianne and Nikolai were standing in front of Ravius and the three previous people from before, the child, the young woman and the femine man, Nimbus.
" What is the reason for this meeting?" Finn said with impatience as he caressed Dianne's waist as she snuggled into his embrace.
"Lord Hero, we called this meeting in order to select who we would training amongst you"Ravius said.
"Oh... "Finn's eyes immediately went to the woman,"...then I want her to train me"
The woman frowned, Ravius' face changed as he looked towards the woman,"Ophelia... "
The woman's frown eased as she stepped out and walked towards the five, seeing this Finn grinned, then his grin froze as Ophelia walked past him and stood in front of Hailey, whose gaze was frigid as she stood there.
"My Queen, can I have the honour of teaching you?" Ophelia said with a slight bow.
"If you teach me, can I be able to take my fate with my own hands?" Hailey asked.
Ophelia was stumped, but she regained her composure, and a bright smile appeared on her face, "whether you can grasp your fate with your hands, that would be decided by how much you learn from me"
"Then I'm willing to let you teach me" Hailey nodded her face still having it's cold exterior.
The complete disregard of Finn didn't pass the eyes of the other three and they all carried different expression.
"Ophelia, what are you doing?" Ravius said as he gripped his cane.
Ophelia turned back to look at him, "Choosing who I am teaching, there was never a clause where i have to accept who chose me to teach them... Besides, he might be the Lord Hero but he isn't worthy "
Turning back to look at Hailey, "Let's go"
With that, Ophelia and Hailey walked out of the hall.
Nimbus chuckled like he was watching a good show while the child's eyes twinkled.
"Apologies, Lord Hero, Ophelia can be unreasonable sometimes" Ravius apologized.
Finn grinned with a dark gaze," no offense taken, I'll have her under me, sooner or later"
Hearing him, Dianne suddenly pinched his sides," bad.. "
Finn laughed heartedly.
Ravius, Nimbus and the child were confused, but Lena and Nikolai were not. Nikolai remained standing where he was but his gaze on Finn's back was cold while Lena remaining apathetic.
Nimbus chose to teach Lena and Dianne, the child chose to teach Nikolai earning a weird look from the latter, to which the child slapped Nikolai crashing into a pillar. Nikolai had fainted from the collision, the child carried him and disappeared out of the hall.
So Ravius was the one to train Finn.
*Slice!* *Crash!!*
Roman dodged a claw that swiped at his head, he watched as the top half of the rock he had been at was sliced clean and broken into smithereens.
Running away, he immediately hid behind a different rubble, he looked through his inventory, he first of all took out the dagger and clenched it in his hand. He ducked immediately and stabbed a claw earning a shriek from the cannibal who clenched it's hand and pranced about. Roman left his position and went to hide behind a bigger rubble. He held a small book in his hand.
This book was one of the skill books in his inventory, he had taken it out after stabbing the cannibal.

"Yes, damn it!!" Roman cursedas he answered as he could hear the cannibal approaching his position.
The book turned into a ray of light and drilled into Roman's forehead.

"Rawwwr!!" The Cannibal roared as it crushed the rubble Roman was in, Roman flew back as he faced the Cannibal, he held his right arm as he snapped at the cannibal.
