Chapter 21 - Titanis; home of the giants

In a distant part of the unlimited space, billions of light years away from other inhabited universe was a gigantic grey planet that stayed in the center of the endless void of space.

The colossal planet was unlike any other as it was not only as big as ten planets combined but it also had a network of interconnected worlds orbiting around it ,which resulted in creating a unique solar system of it's own.

In the planet was a vast amount of barren waste lands that went on for miles, one could say the planet in it's entirety was mostly barren except there were many traces of ruins and fallen civilizations. With ominous dark clouds hanging permanently over the skies of the planet, lightening kept flashing relentlessly, sometimes striking and blazing the hard ground randomly. This planet was known as Titanis, the plane of the great Titans.

The titans were a progenitor race of great formidable giants ,only they were even more bigger and stronger than normal giants. With a minimum height of 100 meters, they had the power to devastate a medium planet singlehandedly.

What's more is that they had the innate talent of space-time manipulation along with lightening attributes. This formidable race where the very top of all powerful existence, not even the abyssal demons (one of the nine greatest forces ) dared to cross their path.

Yet, at this moment, their planet was being invaded by myriad of other powerful races. As different beings, both humanoid or beast like, were roaming both grounds and skies, even ignoring the threat that the lightening posed.

This insolence would have never taken place if the titans hadn't regressed from the height of their eminent glory. With such great power at their disposal, the titans could have very well ruled over all sentient beings and worlds, but with great powers came great responsibility.

Not only did the Titans had to keep the other nine greatest forces at bay, especially the abyssal demons who kept on devouring other worlds, but they also had to protect the main space from even more terrifying existences that wanted to break into theirs....

What was worse was that the Titans had low fertility rate, right from the moment of their birth, the titans were already celestial level beings, having the power to destroy worlds as they wished,it was as if this was the multiverse way of creating balance for the existence of this overwhelmingly powerful beings.

With the fall of the prestigious Titans,it was only a matter of time before other powerful scavengers rushed over to devour the remainder of their great plane.

*BOOOOM*

"SCRRRRRIIIIIIIIIII"

With a flash of searing lightening,a beastly monster that had large whale like body with three gigantic flippers on both sides of it's body was obliterated from existence instantly.

Titanis atmosphere at the present could only be described as apocalyptic,as both aliens, beast and all sorts of beings were dying left and right like flies, all battling each other to have more resources for themselves.

*Bang* *crash* *rumble*

Myriads of different creatures were fighting all over the place with their lives on the line to have a piece of this huge cake, but ofcourse, only the most powerful and tenacious of beings would survive such a scale of madness.

On one of the more levelled rocky terrain of the planet, a humanoid figure stood vigilantly as he assessed and scrutinize the group of people who stood in his path, double-crossing him.

The man had no clothes on except for black pants that covered his lower half, in his hands was a odd dirty rock-like material that gave off a faint energy, the energy couldn't be described as it was giving off a feeling of attraction, drawing the minds of those who laid eyes upon it in.

"I suppose you aren't planning on letting me go, eh?, bloodsucker" the man who had large wounds and mark all over him said looking to the most imposing one of the group.

"Heh,how could I allow one of you disgusting mutts to go just like that,at least leave behind that relic and I might consider this a fair trade" the leader of the group who was dressed in an overflowing coat said with a smile playing on his lips. He had deep red glowing eyes that glinted sharply in the dark, his demeanor calm even against the tumultuous apocalyptic background.

" And I thought vampire's were supposed to be noble in nature.." the man growled as his eyes turned a dim shade of yellow. Holding the rock in his grasp even tighter his figure began to double in size while black fur grew out all over his body.

"Looks like we have to settle this the old fashioned way" the red eyed vampire said leaning slightly forward, the eyes of the other six vampires behind him also started glowing, ready to take action at any moment before he suddenly told them to back off.

"Grrrrrrr"

The shirtless figure who was now an enormous werewolf with black fur having large canine teeth protruding from his snout, growled even more as he released a massive amount of killing intent into the air.

Great pressure descended all over the place, as even the very air seemed to become heavier in a radius of 500 meters, the six vampires who were asked to back down were shrouded in sweat as they felt heavy weight on their shoulders.

'it's as if I'm lifting an entire mountain' the vampire thought as he also underwent a transformation,he had large bat wings sprouting from his back as his figure became more taller, still not losing the smile on his face he said

"let's see how strong you mutts have grown over the years"
