Detective Walker
I and Laura collapsed into the bed trying to balance our breathing. I had been fantasizing about her and now she's was right here next to me.
We both turned to our sides to look at each other. I extended my hand to her face and pushed her hair from her eyes
"How long have you liked me?" She suddenly asked
"Right from when I hired you."
"Why didn't you say something? I felt the same way" she smiled
"You were always occupied with someone and I thought you would find it cringe if your boss told you he liked you " I admitted and she laughed
Her eyes softened and turned to a sad expression. "so what are we going to do about Jude?"
I took a deep breath before I spoke "to be honest, I don't know. I'm still in shock that he has something to do with your kidnap and the whole murder case. Deep down, I'm hoping that his involvement is all a misunderstanding or his was pressured into this"
