Zhen spoke to the old couple by the lake and sent Alice into an instant panic.
'That selfish elf is going to take their house!' Alice shouted in her mind.
Alice immediately caught up with the elf. "You can't -"
"Can't what?" said Zhen who slightly turned his body back to look at Alice.
What Alice saw was Zhen giving 5 gold coins to the old couple.
"...Can't take..." Alice's sentence couldn't finish as she observed Zhen who was negotiating with the old couple.
"As you can see, she's a good girl and tried to stop me from buying your house," Zhen said with a sad face.
The old man and old lady looked at each other then nodded their heads.
"Alright, we'll accept your offer, let us pack our clothes and belongings," said the old man.
The old couple went inside their house.
Alice approached Zhen. "What did you tell them?"
