The town looked devastated. Some buildings were cut off, and there were no more civilians to be seen.
Some adventurers were tended to by other adventurers and some royal knights arrived.
"What's going on here?" said one of the royal knights in full armor.
"Slow as usual. You're late," said Zhen who was walking casually.
"As usual, the royal authorities will come when all is finished," Zhen continued, much to the annoyance of the knights.
"What do you mean? We rushed here as soon as we got the news and immediately prepared with our armor and weapons," said the royal knight who looked at Zhen with his hands clenched tightly as if he wanted to punch the elf in the face.
"Exactly. Your bureaucracy takes too long. This division has to be this way, this division has to be that way, this protocol has to be followed, this weapon can only be used for this situation, and so on so on," Zhen said, shaking his head.
