He watched the scene unfold through a gap in the closet curtain and trusted Aron to control the situation, but when Walrick pulled out a sharp knife and placed it against the tailor's neck, Victor's protective instincts immediately kicked in. Determined, Victor left the closet, dragging the curtain with him. Aron's tension with a knife at his neck was cut short by the soft creak of the curtain's metal rings sliding down the rod.
Victor wasn't someone who fitted easily into small spaces, so when he came out of the closet, he bent down to pass through the curtain.
