Chapter 89 - Problems with a Tailor

Obviously, Victor heard the low, threatening tone of the twins, Walrick and Wendell. He watched the scene unfold through a gap in the closet curtain and trusted Aron to control the situation, but when Walrick pulled out a sharp knife and placed it against the tailor's neck, Victor's protective instincts immediately kicked in. He couldn't stand by while his former friend faced this alone.

Determined, Victor left the closet, dragging the curtain with him. Aron's tension with a knife at his neck was cut short by the soft creak of the curtain's metal rings sliding down the rod. 

Victor wasn't someone who fitted easily into small spaces, so when he came out of the closet, he bent down to pass through the curtain. 

The twins turned their heads, and Wendell, who had no scar, frowned while Walrick, with the prominent scar over his left eye, clenched the hilt of the knife in his hand. They were tall and muscular, but in front of Victor they looked like ordinary people.
