As soon as Tomas said these word Halle felt like she had been nailed to the spot, it was only then that she observed the interior of the elevator which had a refined Europian style looking exquisite.
This was indeed a VIP elevator as normal elevators wouldn't have such extravagant design .
A sense of embarrassment and fear washed over her as she held onto her skirt tightly thinking of the would be consiquences.
Would she be fired on the first day she didn't even want to think about it.
Seeing her distress Tomas felt a little uncomfortable and said " don't worry since we are friends you're with me " he reassured her
Halle however just nodded shyly.
The elevator doors opened for what felt like almost century luckily no one was there to see them coming out together.
Tomas asked " which department do you work in I'll excort you."
Halle was surprised at his request as no one had ever shown her such kindess except for heather other usually avoided her .
Halle said " I'm actually here as an intern assistant I was reccomanded by Mr grey for the postion."
Tomas was shocked has he didn't expect the assistant his Godfather would reccomand his domineering and playboy CEO best friend ito be so young. This undoubtedly picked his interest.
Halle didn't know why Tomas was starring at her internly
She asked " do you know the way "
Tomas snapped out of his thoughts and said" just follow this hall and take a right the first office on your left."
"Thank you ."she said before walking away n big strides she was already late as it was.
Tomas starred at her fleeing back feeling a mix of emotions.
Halle stond in front of a ork wooden door she knew this was it but couldn't her feeling nervous . On her way she hoped to find someone to show her the way but unfortunately the area seemed to be an isolated floor restricted for the CEO her new boss.
Halle swallowed hard reached her hand to knock on the door but stopped mid way as loud noise could be heard from inside
It sounded particularly ambiguous with loud moans coming out through the door.
Halle was puzzled and couldn't figure out what to do for a long time should she leave or stay .
