Kai could feel the fear swelling up inside him, but he wasn't about to let it swallow him whole.
He had chosen the energy construct system because he figured that weapons wouldn't be just lying around - having the ability to just make them himself seemed like a boon if nothing else. Not to mention the first skill he chose was to be able to manifest his own energy sword.
He traversed down the path toward the Southern regions with his eyes constantly scanning the shadows. Felt like everything was constantly watching him. Just waiting for the chance he would relax his guard so they could strike.
But Kai would never open himself up to such a thing.
"Calm yourself, Kai." He muttered. "Fortune always favors the prepared. And you are as prepared as you can be."
