"Are you sure about this?" Kai asked as Zero squared off with himself basically. It was still awkward for Kai to be talking to him while he looked exactly like Conner.
"Yeah. I have a plan to get my body back - but it won't work if you accidentally kill me. Or him I mean. So it's easier this way." Zero replied in a hushed tone.
Kai simply nodded and took several steps back. He trusted Zero knew what he was doing, but he was ready to go at a moments notice if it didn't go as planned.
The impostor cracked his fingers. "This won't be as easy as you think. You may think you know yourself, but turns out I may be a better you than you ever were."
"We'll see." said Zero.
