Zero and Kai stared at each other for several silent moments.
Since that first day they arrived at Haven Falls, they haven't seen each other or spoken since. Zero could feel the words trying to form in his mouth to vent his frustration. All after Zero decided to save his life and run.
"You-" Zero began.
"What are you doing here?!" Kai yelled in a hushed whispers as he cut him off.
"Huh? I could ask you the same thing!"
Kai turned his head and scanned the area from where Zero just came from. "Where is she?"
"Who? Gwyn?" Zero said with a raised eyebrow.
"So that's her name. In either case, you guys need to go. Now." He said sternly.
"No way, we have business here too."
"Which you still haven't told me."
"And I never planned to."
