"Fine." Kai wasted no time. "But I have a condition too."
"Yes?" Xyler replied.
"We get to use both of our systems with no restrictions."
Xyler nodded. "But of course."
Kai looked pleased with that answer. "Mind if I go first, partner?" He called over to Zero.
"Go for it." Based on what he had seen so far of Xyler, Zero honestly didn't know what 1v1 capabilities he had; but he did remember how Xyler had yanked Kai and Grimm out of place with a single word when he saved them against the Excavator. He figured that alone should trigger some caution, but he could already tell by the look on Kai's face that he wasn't even sparing that a thought.
