Zero let a sigh of relief escape through his lips as his body didn't quite relax yet.
There had maybe been seconds between their possible demise and somehow making it out. If it wasn't for Gwyn, they would definitely be on the bad end of that.
"Thanks, Gwyn." Zero said.
"Don't mention it." She then turned a smirk toward Kai as if she was waiting on something else.
Kai scoffed, but his face did soften slightly. "Yeah. That was good timing." He walked up to the frozen player who was still trying their damnedest to wiggle free from the ice but it was clearly in vain. Without being able to speak their invocation, they lost the only possible way they had out.
He flipped the hood off the Viper to reveal a boy with sandy blonde hair - he looked a little younger than them and the panic was clear on his face.
