Sophie was about to start her office work when she received a message from James.
James: "Hey, how are you doing?"
Sophie: "Good, what about you?"
James: "Me too. Are you alone, or is Brenda there?"
Upon reading James's question, Sophie's expression turned peculiar. She typed back, "Why are you suddenly asking about Brenda?"
James: "Today, I have less work, so I thought of coming over if no one's home."
Sophie: "You can come anytime, but I might be busy finishing my office work."
James: "I have a few more tasks. I can work from there too."
Sophie: "Okay, waiting for you."
As Sophie typed the last message, a smile appeared on her face. She had been enjoying James's company a lot lately.
Mom and Dad had already left for work, and Sophie knew Brenda had classes for the day, which eased her mind, as she assumed James wouldn't feel uncomfortable.
