Darius opted to leave Mathilda to whatever she was doing to heal her ex-apprentice, Dorothea, who happened to be Roger's mother. His curious nature wants to know what kind of relationship that they had. But, it's not the time to snoop into their privacy.
Mathilda decided to help her, and Darius respected her judgment. She must have a thing or two inside her sleeve to gain some advantage against George Von Gill by inquiring Dorothea about her husband.
