Chapter 119: Forgiveness is relieving
"You have forgiven her and her mom?" Kiara hears her husband's voice as soon as Riley scrambles away.
Kiara turns to her husband with a gentle smile as Riley quickly exits. "I've chosen to forgive them," she says, her voice soft. "Holding onto resentment would only burden me, Enzo. Besides, I've decided it's best to avoid them altogether – forever, if need be."
Enzo listens intently to his wife's words, his eyes locking onto hers with deep admiration. "What kind of person have I married?" he asks, his voice filled with wonder. "You are the most kind-hearted being I've ever encountered in my entire existence, and I am in awe of that." He gently places a soft peck on her forehead.
