"Are you following me—" his words trailed off.
"It's you," Andrew let out a sigh as soon as he saw the woman behind.
"Yeah, it's me. Are you expecting someone else?" Kelly asked, her voice filled with warmth and a hint of playfulness.
Andrew scanned the surroundings, a flicker of suspicion in his eyes. Unbeknownst to him, I had quickly hidden behind a nearby tree, realizing that he had sensed someone following him. It seemed I shouldn't underestimate his intuition.
"I just thought…" Andrew looked around once more, but found no one. He shrugged off his concerns, dismissing them as mere paranoia. "Nothing," he said with a hint of uncertainty, deciding to continue his morning jog. Kelly followed closely behind, her smile unwavering.
"What would you like for breakfast?" Kelly asked, trying to lighten the mood as they continued their way.
"Leave these things to Aunt Rosemary," Andrew replied curtly, his tone distant.
