"Didn't expect you to be working for my brother," Penelope smirked, passing by Kelly. "How's life been treating you, Kelly?"
Kelly responded with a sarcastic tone, "I don't think we're on friendly terms for us to engage in small talk."
Penelope nodded, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. "Hmm... Don't worry, we'll become better acquainted soon enough."
"There's no need for that. I don't know you, and I have no interest in getting close to you," Kelly retorted, rolling her eyes.
Penelope's smile widened, her voice dripping with a hint of mystery. "You may not know me, but I know you quite well," she responded, a wicked smile playing on her lips.
Kelly stared at her for a moment, her mind racing to figure out how Penelope could know her. Embarrassment flushed her face as she recalled her past scandal. Just then, Dominic approached them, interrupting their conversation.
"I'll call you later," Dominic informed Penelope, his voice commanding.
