Kaelos cradled the pup in his arms, and smiled, softly at it. His heart warmed up at the sight of the pup in his arms. He never bargained being a father that early, but traditions, his mother, and the elders wouldn't let him enjoy his simple life in peace.
"Thank you," he said softly.
He raised his head to see a sleeping Dora. He arched his brows, and shook his head, "Asleep already?"
He looked around, and sighed, "How I wish I could take him along with me," he whispered, "But.. Dora would get mad."
He placed the pup gently beside her, and patted its head, "I love you," and he kissed its head.
Take your heir with you!
His wolf growled.
He closed his eyes and shook his head, "No."
Your heir is yours! Take your heir along with you!
He clenched his fists, and gritted his teeth, "Just shut up!" He snapped.
He made for the door, but it seemed his wolf wanted something different.
