Nyx walked quietly, making sure to count her footsteps. She reached where the other guards were, and quickly walked behind one of them, acting like she had been there all along.
Aegis knelt down beside Ace's body. He touched it with his right hand, and whispered, "I am so sorry you died this way. I promise to fine whoever has done this to you, and make them pay!" He swore coldly.
Nyx tightened her lips, 'I will make you pay first before you even try to do anything!'
He slowly retracted his hand, and clenched his fists, his breath coming out in short, heavy gasps.
He slowly stood up, his eyes blazing with fury, "I promise to make anyone who finds out the person behind's Ace's death, the second in command," he said quietly.
There was a murmur among them, "I would also give him one third of the pack if he finds the cause of his death too."
