Xue Qin spend her days working hard. She didn't even talk much to Nan Qin. When Daniel team comes by to discuss about the project, she excuse herself and get her team to attend without her. Mei Qin and Mrs Gu appear later in the office saying they are looking for Mr Gu. Actually Mei Mei is looking to find Daniel who is avoiding her. They invited him for dinner that night. The food is prepare all by mei mei however he did not turn up. While Xue Qin is alone watching a movie. She enjoy it with popcorn and a drink. When the light is up, she find that Daniel is siting two sits away from her. Right after the visitors are leaving he walk up to her. He raise his hand asking her to take it. Xue Qin refuse and attempt to walk away. He walk behind her and follow whatever she goes throughout the mall. Finally she can't take his nuisance, she turn around in the pavement outside the mall.
"What do you want?!"
"You know what i want."
"Please stop. I am tired. I can't go home... i ..."
He walk up to her and hug her. Her lifeless body is feeling the warm from this man. He pat her gently from her hair all the way down to her spine. He keep repeatedly the action till he feel her breath is not so heavy. The time with him at this point stop for her. She can smell his manliness. She dig her face onto his chest. He smile and wrap his coat over her. He knows what she want and what she needs. They hug each other tight. "Do you want to come to my place for coffee?"
"No."
"Tea?"
"No"
"Me?"
She raise her head up to look at his mischievous face. "You can have me through out the night, if you want. Tomorrow is the weekend. My time is all for you. Only you."
She follow him to his house. Again he did not switch on the lights. The windows are french style. Thus he had the couch facing it, at night he usually sit in the dark and watch the sky. Tonite is rather special, Xue Qin is with him to admire the dark sky. In the dark house, he knows where he place his things thous making coffee in the dark is nothing too difficult for him. He bring Xue Qin to sit down on the couch while he hurry to make coffee. Once it done, he brings it over and sit down with her. They talk through out the night and laugh at things. Sometimes he can help but to kiss her on the lips. He enjoy spending his time with the girl he loves. When she talks, Daniel stare at her. He smile throughout the night. Till the sun rises, he just can't get enough looking at her. As the sun rises, he move closer to her. Xue Qin stare into his eyes, her lips open slightly. He lean over to kiss her and hold her close to him. This time, she lean onto his couch, he kiss her and feel her body. This time she did not protest nor cry. He slowly unbutton his blouse while look into her eyes while she is unbuckle his belt and pants. He stop her hands from unzipping his pants. "Are you sure about this, Xue Qin?"
"We have to be fair, you have seen my body parts a few time."
"Are you prepare to see mine? There is no return when you see me naked."
"What do you mean?"
"You will have to marry me and sleep beside me every night."
Xue Qin silently look at him. Their eyes meet. He hug her.
"If you don't agree. Then don't see. Don't feel. Till you are sure, till you want to marry me. I will come to you in my nakedness. For you."
"Can i draw and paint a portrait of you?"
"With my clothes, anytime."
"No with you butt naked."
"Marry me. I give you everything you ask for. Marry me, make me your's."
"I think we got the lines reverse here." She laugh. He smile broadly "Doesn't matter, i want you to marry me. Will you marry me?"
"No" she said without smiling."Because you will marry my cousin..."
"If i managed to cancel it. Will you marry me?"
She keep silence and wonder how can he cancel the engagement.
"I will keep asking you to marry me. I will ask till you give up and say yes."
"I think, it's better you figure out how to resolve the issue on hand. I better go home now." She turn around to pick up her handbag but Daniel pull her back to him. He hug her tightly and think how can he keep her right beside him.
That evening, she sits alone in her small house. She not sure how to keep her promise to her cousin about keeping away from Daniel. Mei Qin had moved out of the mansion. She claimed that she needs to stay in school for her classes. Mrs Gou is in stress when her favourite child is away from her. She got even more grouchy and unreasonable.
Xue Qin and Nan Qin stay away from home frequently because of the moody Mrs Gou. They eat dinner outside and have fun after that. Sometimes, they bought drinks and hang out in the garden without letting Mr and Mrs Gou find out that they are at home. The night is always kind to them. The gentle breeze makes them feel comfortable and relaxed.
