I let out my anger, but in the end, I'm the only one in pain! Why?!
Mia's anger surged like a tidal wave, crashing against the shores of her heart as she stormed out of the VIP karaoke room. Her breath came in heavy gasps, a frantic rhythm that mirrored the chaos within. She felt like a volcano ready to erupt, each step fueled by a mix of rage and hurt. The neon lights of the bar blurred into streaks of color as she pushed through the crowd, her mind racing faster than her feet could carry her.
"Where is she?" Mia muttered, her voice a low growl. She spotted Sara, her once-beloved friend, laughing with a group of people, the sound grating against Mia's frayed nerves. With every heartbeat, memories of laughter and shared secrets flashed through her mind—moments that now felt tainted by betrayal. The thrill of their friendship had turned into a bitter ache, and she was left grappling with the remnants of the joy they once shared.
"Relationships without purpose are the devil!" she thought, her mind spiraling. "Hahaha. Sara, it wasn't your fault—I opened my own door to the devil." The realization hit her like a slap; she had ignored all the warning signs, had turned a blind eye to the way Sara treated her own sister. "How foolish of me! I expected you to treat me like a fairy?" The laughter that escaped her lips was hollow, an echo of her shattered trust.
Mia felt the hot sting of tears as they spilled down her bloodied cheeks. "You didn't add anything to my life," she cried out, her voice cracking with emotion. "To think of it, you always took what belonged to me! How dare you even try to take my life? Who gave you the right to push me? Who?!" The words erupted from her like a volcano, shaking the very foundation of the karaoke bar into silence.
Sara turned, her expression a mixture of surprise and disdain. "Have you lost your mind? Huh! Don't dare shout at me, bloody cat, you piece of shit!" she shot back, a smirk curling her lips as she continued to weave through the crowd, leaving a trail of mockery in her wake.
"Hey, and make sure you don't show your face in front of my apartment, you dirty thing!" Sara's words dripped with contempt, her face contorted in disgust as she took in Mia's disheveled appearance—a bleeding visage, hair wild and clothes in disarray, as if she had just emerged from a battle.
"Sorry, guys, about my messy appearance, but a friend—no, a close friend turned enemy—turned my life upside down. It's crazy, right?" Mia explained to the crowd, her voice trembling as she wiped away the tears that blurred her vision. "Listen, Sara, before you leave, I have something to share with you."
The crowd, sensing the tension, began to rally around her, urging her to take the stage. "Before that, guys, I would like to use the stage and sing to my fake friend…"
Mia hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest as she gripped the microphone. "Sara, this is for you."
As the music began to play, Mia closed her eyes, allowing the melody to wash over her. She took a deep breath and began to sing, her voice a haunting blend of sorrow and strength.
♪♮♪Hmmmmmm, I used to tell you everything

Each note resonated with the pain she felt, her heart laid bare for all to see. She stood firm, facing Sara, her black hair cascading over her face like a curtain shielding her from the world. The crowd fell silent, captivated by the raw emotion pouring from her.
♪♮♪Hmmmm, I just wanted to love you

Sara's expression shifted, irritation morphing into discomfort as she tried to turn away. But the crowd wouldn't let her escape. They held her captive, forcing her to face the truth Mia was singing.
Mia continued, pouring her heart into the lyrics, each word a dagger aimed at the betrayal she had suffered.
♪♮♪I hope you're happy with your friends

As the last note lingered in the air, Mia's heart felt heavier than ever. "Sorry, guys, I'm completely done!" she exclaimed, her voice breaking. "Songs can heal a broken heart, but I don't think there's a song that can mend mine. The memories and feelings are still so raw, and every note seems to hurt just a little bit more. They bring a bittersweet smile to my face, one that's just a facade hiding the pain."
She looked directly at Sara, her eyes blazing with unresolved fury. "Sara, you're truly a devil. One day, what you did to me, you will surely feel my pain one way or another. I'm not wishing bad upon you, but that's karma… history repeats itself."
With a heavy heart, Mia stepped down from the stage, her spirit drained yet somehow lighter. "Guys, I'm tired. Let her go."
As she turned to leave, a voice rang out from the end of the hall. "Mia! You're really a drama queen! Enjoy. I'm off, loser." Sara's mocking laughter echoed behind her, a cruel reminder of the friendship that had crumbled into dust.
Mia paused for a moment, feeling the weight of Sara's words settle over her like a dark cloud. But as she walked away, she realized that sometimes, the loudest echoes of betrayal could lead to the softest whispers of self-discovery. And in that moment, amidst the chaos of emotions, she vowed to rebuild herself—stronger, wiser, and unafraid to face the world alone.
