Although Misty Cloud Town wasn't a city, it was busy enough to rival even the capital. However, this was just what happened when a sect was due to open its doors for recruitment. Thousands upon thousands of people would come from across the empire in hopes of being recruited. Some of them weren't even martial artists; however, they were the minority. The rest of the year, the town remained empty, apart from a few civilians who lived there.
The average cultivation of the applicants ranged from the first stage all the way to the seventh, but there was a strict age limit. Applicants couldn't be over the age of twenty, so that was why martial artists above the sixth stage were an infrequent sight among the applicants; most martial artists with that much talent would have already been recruited by someone.
