He lay the bottle of pills Grandmaster Mao had given him on the floor and then pulled out his spirit-gathering pills. He took out the remaining spirit stones he had gotten from Master Shen and then finished his preparation with some of the snake meat he still had left. It was taking him longer than he had expected to consume it.
Once he was ready to begin, he lifted the bottle of unidentified pills to his nose and gave them a sniff. It smelled like blossoming flowers, however it didn't give him even the slightest indication of what they could be. So he licked one of them instead. A feeling of relaxation flooded his mind from just a simple taste.
"What is this?" He muttered as he gave the pill another taste before deciding to consume it.
