"Join us?" Li Jun asked.
"Yes," the girl said with a hopeful gleam in her eyes. "I figured that I would have a better chance if I joined a team, and well, I noticed there are only two of you."
Li Jun glanced back at Shen Yun with a questioning gaze. No good could come from trusting a stranger they met in a dark cave. He wasn't sure if the girl was trying to trick them or she was just that naive. Either way, she would have to find another team to join.
"Wait, I know you." Shen Yun said, stepping out from the darkness behind Li Jun. She looked the girl up and down for a moment before smiling.
"You're Shen Yun?" The girl asked with a surprised expression. She hadn't recognized her voice, and it was hard to make out faces from a distance in the darkness. There was no way that she could have known beforehand.
"He Ning!" Shen Yun exclaimed as she ran forward and hugged her.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
