Ezekiel quickly sent word to Lurio through one of his royal pigeons. He hadn't done so a while ago and instead had simply let Tarah seek the wizard out personally because Vulcan's soul was still in control over him during his struggle. He had feared that he might end up hurting Tarah if she was near him, so he thought it was best for her to go away in the meantime.
Still, while he didn't know what kind of language and spell Tarah cast on him before, it clearly worked for the moment since Vulcan couldn't do anything to him other than annoy him with his grumbling voice and nonsense offers and suggestions. The dragon was crazy. It would act cool and try to tempt him in one moment, then curse him during another, especially whenever he wouldn't respond to it.
"You should rest," Ezekiel told Tarah, who continued writing in her journal after eating.
