After 20 minutes of traveling Fen reached the settlement as he also looked at the skills and power he could use in the book. The Potrus race had human body but had wings instead of hands. When the people of Potrus race saw a human they were overjoyed as a Potrus race person ran inside the wall.
The guards opened the gate as they let Fen go inside. It was being observed by Kaminari the rabbit as she started to panic as she thought "oh no that human went inside. Why did I have to point towards here when he asked me but it was his fault that he didn't listen to me fully but now I have to save him." Fen saw ancient buildings made of mud and sticks after coming inside as all people that he pass by looked at him with a hidden emotion on their eye.
Fen just kept walking as he entered a marketplace as he saw many types of meat were there but one stall had the greatest number of customers as he couldn't read the sign about what type of meat it was. Suddenly a feathery hand came and was placed in Fen's shoulder as it was the same guard who went somewhere when Fen entered the town. As Fen looked back the guard said "Please come with me our leader wants to meet you" and Fen started to follow him. Fen saw a giant mansion in the distance as they inside it.
A middle age looking man was sitting in the hall as he greeted Fen.
The guard bowed as he left leaving Fen and the middle age man alone.
The man said "I am Lofte Ens the mayor of the town." Fen replied "I am Fen, Yan Fen so why did you want to see me?" Lofte replied "you know we are so deep in the forest so barely any one comes so we treat our guests very politely so you don't need to worry you can rest for the night in my mansion." Fen skeptically agreed as the maid led him to his room and the maid left as he locked the door.
