"Emilio… my son… please wake up for me…."
In Emilio's abandoned room, Queen Melisa sat while still holding her son's hand tightly. Ever since King Alexius had said that Emilio was no longer a crown prince, Queen Melisa had been living in extreme despair. She couldn't kill King Alexius for his son's sake, but she was unable to wake her son from his long slumber either. Queen Melisa was even contemplating suicide if only Emilio didn't wake up until Raoul made it to the capital.
At least if she died, no one could threaten her to give King Alexius the antidote to the poison she made. Queen Melisa bit her lips tightly as she thought about the bad ending that might happen to her.
Just as she was lost in thought, the hand she was holding slowly moved. Queen Melisa was so shocked that she forgot to call the doctor. Her eyes only continued to stare at her son's face, which slowly started to get its color back.
