As the news that their kingdom was going to war had been heard everywhere, the royal palace was much busier than the other day when Duke Andrew finally arrived at the palace. In front of the other nobles, the Duke got an order to go to the southern border along with thousands of troops. The trumpets of war resounded throughout the kingdom. Everyone prayed with all their hearts that the people who were sent to the battlefield would return safely in the future.
After the formal ceremony, Duke Andrew walked through the palace before he returned to Alison's residence to retrieve his troops. The man came to the castle where Prince Raoul lived before and found that King Alexius was sitting on one of the stairs with a sad face.
Duke Andrew smiled slightly as he sat next to the king.
