Vaguely, I heard those guys talk about gangs? Kowloon? Is that the name of the 'city'? I don't care anymore. I just want to sleep. Everything turn to pitch black.
"Hey do watch that film yet" asked Officer Lin.
"What film? Police Story?" said Officer Yang.
"Yaaaa!" said Officer Officer Lin while nodding.
"Tonight after we go to Jumbo Kingdom?" suggest Officer Yang.
"So now you rich ah?" asked Officer Lin jokingly.
"Just the hawker meh" said Officer Yang
"Wait wait, is that boy alright?" concerned Officer Yang.
They got out of car and ran to the boy. Officer Lin pulled out his walkie "There is an unconscious boy around 9 or 10 years old at the XX street, the junkies street".
"How was him?" asked Officer Lin.
Officer Yang check the boy's pulse and check his head "Nothing serious just a scratch"
"Let's go" Officer Lin said.
Officer Yang picked up the boy and bring him to the car and they drove to a clinic nearby the police station.
"Today's harvest isn't bad eh?" Jake while counting the snack and instant noodle that he got through various means, we will talk about that later.
"Uncle Chow I take a bit of this, alright!!" shout Jake to Uncle Chow.
"Alright!!!" Uncle Chow shout back.
Jake carry a container of hot water to his house and start preparing today's meal.
"Where is James, eh? He's late. I should have asked Uncle Chow" frowned Jake.
James woke up to an unknown sight. "Too clean to be my house". James look up to the ceiling and blinded by the lamp. "Since when a lamp can be this bright" he though. He remembered that he had to go back to his brother and immediately take the metal noodle bag beside the bed and go to the door. He was stopped by a police "Where do you wanna go?"
"My home" said James.
The police officer thinking a bit and make a phone call "I will be a bit late" and hung up.
"Let's go" said the police.
James hesitate but he just went with him.
"Get in" the officer said to James while pointing at the car.
"Really?!" shocked James.
James excitedly get in the car and make himself comfortable.
The Officer start driving and he said "You know, you shouldn't get into people's car easily like that"
James realized that and silently try to grab the door's handle. "Where are we going?" asked James.
"Kowloon. You're from Kowloon, right? No registration and you feel rough. And that noodle bag, I went there once a while ago." said the officer.
"Ohh" sighed James.
"What's your name?" asked the officer.
"James, James Lee" said James.
"My name is Yang, call me Mr. Yang" said Officer Yang.
James just nodded. "Where are your parent's, James?" asked Officer Yang.
"Never met them" said James. "Sorry" Officer Yang apologized.
Upon arriving at the city Officer Yang warned "Don't come near that street again".
"Alright, Thank you Mr. Yang" said James.
James opened the door and walked to the building.
Officer Yang took out his notebook and write "Uncle Chow Noodle-suspected dealer". Officer Yang took out his walkie and said "There's a new target in Kowloon" and drove off.
James walk through the entrance and checked his bag for the money and it was still there. James feel relief and continue go upstairs.
There are two people watching James and the car from earlier.
