Levi slowly rose to his full height, his eyes still fixed on Robert as he felt the wind tugging at his transfigured skin and ruffling his hair. He quickly glanced at his knuckles—coated with blood—before slowly turning around to face Nate and the disturbance.
Nate could now see Levi. He looked weary and tired, and was still transfigured with no glowing blue. Levi gave him a soft nod and a brief, warm smile before his eyes narrowed at the tiltrotors hovering just before them.
As usual, the frames were painted in red and their blades spinning relentlessly that fanned the surrounding fires. Nate took one step toward Levi as the leading tiltrotor made a hissing sound, indicating that its booth was about to lower itself.
