Glass shattered which startled her.
Vanessa looked back, finding out that the glass room had been demolished. She panicked, picking up the pace as she made her way through a ceilinged ramp that connected to the skyscraper, it looked like a jet bridge.
"Sound the alarms!" She ordered a trooper who was confused. "Sound the fucking alarms!" She screamed, taking strands of hair to the back of her ear. "You, follow me!" She ordered another.
Vanessa walked briskly with the trooper, taking occasional glances behind them. They've all gone crazy! She thought. Crazy!
Suddenly, there was an outburst from the side of the ramp. Vanessa felt a force push her to the opposite side, her body breaking through and falling down to the streets of The Academy.
She landed hard on her arm, grunting as her body followed. Looking up, the bridge was collapsing, falling down. Vanessa's eyes widened, noticing that an academic with giant powers had attacked her.
