Abby stared at Jamie for a while and her supportive gesture, before refusing and opting to get up by herself.
"A Thank You would be nice at least," Jamie said, retreating her hand.
"That's why I didn't say it," Abby snarled, getting disgusted by the gummy liquid all over her. She spat on the ground and tried to wipe away as much as she could.
Jamie folded her arms and watched Abby's unproductive attempts. "How are you?" She asked Abby, her voice echoed in the darkness.
Abby removed her gaze from her uniform and looked up at Jamie. "How am I? You're seriously asking me that now?"
Jamie shrugged. "I feel it's a good time. We have never been alone in the same place for a long time now. I don't know when els-"
"So, we have to be alone before you ask that?" Abby chuckled. "Wrap the crap up."
