"What was she speaking to you about?" Meera asked Levi, priming an analgesic shot to administer to him.
Levi shrugged, flaunting his exposed arm from the patient gown, getting ready for the shot. "She went on about how she came here, that Robert saved her and so many crazy things," Levi replied.
Meera spun around, her clogs screeched on the white tiled floor of the clinic. She held a medic tray of supplies and walked closer to Levi. She noticed him squint as the sun brightened, its rays coming in through an open window. Meera closed it shut, bringing a serene atmosphere between them.
Meera looked Levi in the eye. "Please, stay away from that girl," she said.
Levi didn't need to be told, she was giving him negative vibes already. But he has to be inquisitive to succeed here. "May I ask why?"
Meera sighed, using a hair clip to fix her bobs together behind her, exposing her neck even better. "She is a golden academic that's why," Meera replied.
