Luckily for Levi and Jamie, there were no troopers positioned in the levels of the facility. It was all quiet, empty and cold, even the cameras failed to move their neck as the two walked through the hallways.
Levi felt as though the lockdown in The Academy had also affected the institution. There were no working personnel or obstacles, except for the small number of troopers they had just encountered.
As they continued their brisk walk, Levi peered into rooms that they passed from their windows facing the hallways.
The first room Levi peered into seemed to be more of a medical room than a room for constructive technology. The room was completely covered in white, with an array of glassware beakers, flasks, and test tubes cluttering the space. The bright white, gleaming artificial lights illuminated the room. Some equipment was blanketed, while others were not.
