As they carried Ana to Malphus's chambers, she could feel the eyes of the guards and other castle inhabitants upon her. She hated being the center of attention, but she knew that the fate of her unborn child depended on Malphus's help. She held back her tears she wouldn't let her child die, even if she had to grovel at Malphus's feet. As the queen's trembling form was escorted to Malphus' chambers, the ancient wizard waited anxiously for her arrival. His eyes scanned the halls, searching for any sign of the guards who bore her to his doorstep.
When Ana finally stumbled into Malphus' chambers, supported by two guards on either side, the air seemed to thicken with tension. Malphus stood tall, his eyes fixed on her, and his voice soft yet commanding. "Bring her here I must examine her."
