The next day came quickly, as Ana stood outside watching as her carriage was being loaded Ana continued watching, her heart heavy with the knowledge that she would soon be leaving him. She knew it was for the best, but the thought of being apart from him was like a physical pain. As the final items were loaded onto the carriage, she felt her heart grow heavy, but this was the right thing to do, she had done her duty, and her pregnancy would only grow more arduous. As she climbed inside the carriage, she could feel the familiar ache in her bones that had plagued her for weeks. Natalia would accompany her on her journey back, "Are you ready Your Majesty?" She asked as she climbed in after her, "Yes but..."
"But what?" She asked, "Can't you think of any reason to stay Natalia? Anything?" she asked her eyes pleading she wasn't ready to leave her men behind to their potential doom.
