"Mr. Del Valle! You finally arrived!"

An older man stood and welcomed Azrael with a pat on his shoulder. It was a kind and harmonious welcoming gesture, yet Azrael's face was as cold and unreadable as a frozen ancient cuneiform.

The older man whose gut was almost popping out from the tight long-sleeve shirt he wore, smiled as if he didn't notice the unpleasant aura Azrael was emanating. He gestured to the seat in the middle of two omegas wearing revealing dresses.

However, another man approached them and winked at Knox, "Chairman, can't you see Mr. Del Valle bought his own omega already?"

The older man, whose name was Otis Simon, the chairman of OS Electronics, frowned at the sight of Knox. He laughed mockingly and replied, "Mr. Del Valle, I didn't know you liked this type. He doesn't look like an omega at all! I guess, he's good in bed, so you choose him, huh? I'm tempted to try him, why don't you lend him to me just once?"

Laughter erupted in the room. Knox's face got distorted with disgust and he almost stepped up to kick the chairman in the face, but Azrael's grasp on his waist tightened as if telling him to calm down.

Azrael ignored Chairman Simon and led Knox to an empty couch. He sat gracefully, then pulled Knox beside him. "I came here to talk about business, Chairman Simon. Let's get to it, shall we?"

"You're too uptight, Mr. Del Valle. If you're worried about the same thing happening to you again, you have nothing to worry about. These omegas, I can vouch for their identities. I can assure you they were just hired to have fun with us tonight. No malicious intentions! They're just hungry for some expensive meats!"

Laughter and shouts reigned the room.

Azrael slammed the table with the heel of his black leathered Louis Vuitton shoe making everyone stop with their chatters. Everyone turned their head at him, while he simply took his foot back, crossed his legs, and sat like a king, glaring down at each peasant he laid his eyes upon.

The peasants flinched and moved away. At last, his eyes landed on the clown. He smirked and spoke dangerously, "It seems that you weren't even fazed about the internal conflict rising inside your company, Chairman. You're wasting your time here popping bottles and licking ass*s while your position is in jeopardy. Well, I guess, it'd be for the best. At least, OS Electronics will be in better hands."

Chairman Simon stomped towards them and stood across Azrael. Knox observed the older man; he couldn't believe the chairman of OS Electronics was a senile, lustful man. No wonder the company was in shambles. He winced after catching a whiff of that unpleasant smell coming from the old man. He unconsciously turned his head toward Azrael and felt relieved after smelling that familiar scent of the forest. It calmed him, so instead of moving away, he scooched closer and even clung his arms to him.

'An earthly breeze is nice after smelling sewage,' Knox thought to himself. 'I guess not all alphas are dreamy.'

The chairman spoke, grinning wickedly, "Why wouldn't it be? You're going to acquire it and appoint me as the president, aren't you? I'd still be the one managing it, so of course, it'll be in better hands! Hahaha!"

Azrael folded his hands and leaned back, "Well, who knows, I might have a change of heart."

"Oh~ Mr. Del Valle, I know you won't let this opportunity pass. You need this—

"I told you I might decide not to buy that crumbling company of yours. I can just invest and support whoever sits next after you, but I'm still offering you to sell me the company on the condition of letting you have the presidential position. If you want to stay connected in that company you founded yourself, then sit properly and let's talk about the details, or you can watch me leave and get yourself thrown out of your own business."

Chairman Simon just stared at Azrael with contempt and gritted teeth. His company, OS Electronics he founded with blood and sweat was slowly declining. Most of the shares were already bought by wolves pushing him to step down from the rock and surrender the position, but he can never let his company be in the hands of a stranger.

However, he was aware that the hands extending to help him belonged to a devil. He can retain his position and still be part of his company, but he might lose more than it seems. So, he'd been contemplating; buying time and finding the devil's weakness to get the upper hand.

The chairman's eyes moved to the omega clinging to the devil's arm. The latter never once let an omega approach him, yet that frail-looking guy sat beside him and he never complained. The older man smirked and gave a meaningful look at one of the recessive alphas in the room.

Then, he sat across, his gut bounced from the movement. He smiled at Azrael and nodded obediently, "Of course, of course, let us talk the details now. Everyone, get out."

Everyone left. Knox sighed in relief. But he sighed too soon because the chairman pointed at him and added, "What are you still doing here?! I told everyone to leave."

Azrael, "He's staying with me."

Chairman Simon looked at Azrael, his angry face changed upon meeting his eyes and he smiled crookedly, "Mr. Del Valle, I'm not comfortable talking about the details of the purchase in an outsider's presence. He can wait in the room next door."

Azrael turned to Knox. The latter just shrugged his shoulders as if telling Azrael, he'd do whatever he wanted.

"Wait for me in the room next door."

Knox stood, "Okay."

With that, he left. One of the bodyguards asked him where he was going when he walked past them, Knox just pointed at the employee leading him to the next room. The bodyguard looked troubled. He wanted to follow Knox but hesitated as he didn't receive an order.

In the end, he just watched him enter the room, convincing himself that nothing could probably go wrong since the room was just a few steps away from them.

However, they failed to consider that the rooms in those kinds of places are soundproof. So, as soon as Knox entered and the door behind him shut, the melodious yet sinister laughter of a few men waiting for his arrival wasn't heard from the outside.

Knox shuddered. Thick alpha's pheromones lingered in the air, and one particular scent covered him, showering him with that nauseating odor. He quickly turned away and bolted to the door, but an alpha blocked the way, and another alpha pulled his shirt from behind.

He staggered and lost his balance. He tried to stand as quickly as possible, but a third alpha, who was grinning from ear to ear, straddled him on the floor.

Knox struggled, but his hands were caught and pinned above his head. His strength was slowly fading away from the pheromone shower, so he could only mumble weakly, "What…"

The sounds of clothes ripping and maniac laughter grew distant in Knox's ears, and the faces of the three alphas looming over him became blurry until they turned like silhouettes behind a shower curtain. His body turned hot, his mind became hazy and tears peeked from the corner of his eyes.

'Stop…' even in his head, his voice was weak and weary. He shuddered from the touch that defiled his naked chest and shouted at the top of his lungs. Yet the smirks and mocking laughter of the abusers drowned his cry.

Another strong and large hand pulled him up from the neck. Knox realized his arms were freed, so he threw punches despite his blurred vision. Tears streamed down his cheeks and the coldness of the room pricked his skin.

Despite that, he stumbled and repeatedly pushed away the person touching him. He choked from his tears but he still yelled, "Let go! F*ck yourselves, you disgusting m*therf*ckers!! Let me go! Let me—

"KNOX ARDEN!"

That deep, loud voice filled with anger shook the entire room and snapped Knox from his misery. He blinked his tear-stained eyes, and finally, Azrael's face registered in his sight. His lips trembled, and he couldn't restrain a sob from escaping.

Azrael draped his coat over Knox's shoulders. His shirt was ripped; his hair was disheveled and his wrists were bruised. His eyes weren't focused and his body was shaking. Azrael always finds his servant as a brave, placid, and amusing person.

However, at that time, he looked like a lost lamb passing through the valleys of death. Azrael clenched his fist. When he opened the door and saw the alpha on top of Knox, his face changed and he saw red.

Soon, what he saw became reality. The brown carpet was painted red after he grabbed a stool and smashed it to that alpha's head. If his bodyguards hadn't come in and pulled him off from strangling the other conscious alpha on the floor, he might have murdered someone right then.

Knox' restrained sobs brought Azrael back into the present. He gathered Knox into his arms and frowned when he felt his body was hot.

"Damn those bastards. I should have killed them," he muttered. He could see why Knox wasn't able to fight. It was because he was drugged. "Wrap this up. Make sure none will live normally ever again."

Azrael ordered. Then, he left, carrying Knox in his arms.
