Chapter 50 - Rocky Bed (R-18)

She came back to him minutes later with a wide smile on her face and he knew she was incredibly happy. 

His heart felt full at the sight of her smile and he knew she felt right at home. 

Unfortunately, he soon needed air and had to get up while she stayed below. As he gasped for oxygen, he looked at the blue sky above. 

His heart felt disappointed that he couldn't join her the whole time. 

He took deep breaths and went back in, trying to spend as much time underwater as he could. 

She giggled and pulled him deeper to the corals and schools of fishes surrounded them. He could hear her beautiful voice utter in that language of hers, and by coincidence the schools surrounded them, as if unafraid. 

He watched with wide eyes as they danced around them—as if on purpose—and his eyes met with her bright blue eyes, looking at him with warmth.

It was surreal. 

Naia in her element was unbelievably surreal.
