Chapter 57 - The Wedding

"Elias?" She mumbled, looking around to see this wasn't one of those passenger boats at all. 

They were in a smaller boat—a yacht—and from the window there was no land in sight. 

They were also not moving.

She frowned, confused. "Where are we?" she asked, trying to think of the last thing she remembered. "I was going to see him…" 

She then gestured for her pockets, only to realize that her phone was gone. 

"My phone…" she mumbled, mind reeling at how odd everything was. She lifted her head to look at Elias. "Do you know where it is?" 

"I'm not sure. I found you like this," he said, not explaining further. "So you want to go to Thaddeus? Now?"

She nodded. Although the two men didn't seem to like each other very much, Naia knew they were acquaintances.

However, instead of moving, Elias just shook his head. "There would be no use, he'd probably find you burdensome…"
