Chapter 124 - Farewell Party

Days passed and it was finally Leon's last day at his fisherman job. His logistics job only needed a day for turnover, so it was relatively straightforward.

He wasn't particularly close with the people there either, so he just had to order pizza as a farewell treat and that was that.

The people from the ship, though, were completely different. He had known them since he was a kid and they took him in when he was having trouble. 

They were a second family to him. So naturally the farewell party was much grander. 

They held it in the house, with Grandma, Naia (with vegetable cutting), as well as the wives of the married men, helping prepare the food. 

Four women squeezed in the small kitchen and the dining table to prepare. Some were dicing, some were chopping, some were cooking, while another was peeling (Naia). 

Of course, activity aside, with women together there was bound to be a lot of chatter.
