Chapter 109 - Try-outs (Part 2)

Of course, their tangent thoughts didn't keep their focus away from the game and, as soon as they neared Leon, they immediately surrounded him. 

Bounce, bounce, bounce

Leon dribbled as he looked for openings, zoning in on the exact location of his teammates. 

He shifted, and the three immediately changed with him. He dribbled and maneuvered to avoid a sly steal from the captain, but otherwise he was still blocked.

He shifted and was blocked a few more times, but his eyes were recording their mannerisms as he did so. For instance, he noticed how Jake's feet would tilt just a bit in the direction he was going a second later. 

The three enemies were tense, guarding him well, their long arms seeming to block all paths he could use.

However, with fluid and deliberate movements, he performed a fake on Jake and—with the narrow opening— he passed the ball to Orange.
